The University of Southern Maine’s applied graduate program will grant graduate assistantships to the selected candidates.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate assistantships are only available to students who meet the following requirements:
- Currently enrolled full-time in a graduate degree program.
- All graduate student requirements, including a baccalaureate degree, must be met before they can be considered for employment.
- They must also have completed at least six credits of coursework in the semester(s) in which they plan to work (master’s and CAS students) or be registered in GRS 602 (masters) or GRS 701 (doctoral) and have a certificate of satisfactory progress from their program.
To begin the application process, students must submit an online application to the university’s application portal or the Common Application portal for the graduate program they desire to attend.
On Question 16 of their graduate school application, students might declare their interest in the assistantship.
