Rosa Stiftung Scholarships value/inclusions:

For the duration of the typical study program period, the scholarship for overseas students takes the form of a living grant. International students are not exempt from paying tuition.

The Rosa-Luxemburg-Scholarship Stiftung’s Department provides students with a wide range of assistance, including political education activities and summer schools, domestic and international conferences, symposia, and educational excursions.

Additionally, it arranges for practical training in areas like rhetoric, conflict resolution, and other crucial abilities, as well as time management and self-management, enhancing academic credentials, text and writing workshops, and specialized methodological seminars.

Rosa Stiftung Scholarships  Eligibility:

For international students enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. program in Germany, the Scholarship Department distributes funds. The conditions are:

• Language proficiency in German (B2 level or above)
• MA A state-funded or state-recognized German university must be the student’s place of study.
• A German university must admit Ph.D. candidates.

Graduate students pursuing their MA, Diploma, or State Examination in Germany or doctoral students pursuing a Ph.D. or doctoral research in Germany are eligible to apply for scholarships for MA and doctoral students from Egypt, Libya, Lebanon, Tunisia, Yemen, Jordan, Morocco, and Iraq.

The criteria for selection are:

• High academic and professional qualifications (evidence of above-average performance in school and/or university courses)
• Political and social participation in line with Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung objectives
• Language proficiency in German (B2 level or above).

Online applications are accepted for scholarships. For grants starting in the summer semester of the following year (1 April), the application deadline is 1 October; for awards starting in the winter semester of the same year, it is 1 April (1 October).
