As a Field Supervisor, you’ll step into a hands-on role that balances planning, project oversight and direct fieldwork – offering a unique blend of leadership and practical application in some of Alberta’s fastest-growing communities.

Since 1979, Alpha Better Landscaping has been at the forefront of commercial and residential landscaping across Alberta. As a family-run business with deep roots in the Calgary area, our mission is centered on “Building a Living Legacy.” We don’t just create landscapes; we shape the neighborhoods and communities that people call home. From massive commercial developments to intricate city park designs, our projects reflect a commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability and community transformation.

That’s why we’re looking for individuals who don’t just want a job – but a chance to leave a lasting mark on the urban landscape.

This isn’t your typical office-based supervisor role. At Alpha Better Landscaping, Field Supervisors are active leaders in the field, not just managers behind a clipboard. You’ll be working side-by-side with your crew, overseeing daily operations and guiding large-scale landscaping projects from the ground up. Your input will directly influence construction timelines, budget efficiency, team morale and the final quality of the project. Whether you’re installing green spaces in a brand-new housing development or managing winter snow removal logistics, your leadership will drive results that matter.

We’re currently operating across several high-growth zones including Legacy, Seton, Wolf Willow, Cornerstone, Livingston and Haskayne (Bearspaw), among others. That means you won’t be stuck doing the same routine every day. Instead, you’ll gain experience across various types of developments – residential communities, municipal parks and large commercial environments. The variety in project scope and setting makes this role perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, ever-changing outdoor environments and enjoys solving challenges in real-time.

Beyond the hands-on work, Alpha Better Landscaping invests heavily in its people. This 3-year full-time contract comes with a competitive hourly wage between $25 and $38, generous overtime opportunities, winter salary guarantees and health and dental benefits after your first season. You’ll also gain access to a company vehicle, bonus programs and the chance to become a long-term part of a company that values loyalty, hard work and community contribution.
